VLC is an open
source and free simple fast and much powerful cross-platform player and
framework for playing most of multimedia files like CD, DVD, VCD, Audio CD and other various supported streaming media protocols.
Please follow below given steps to install VLC in Centos.
Please login as a root or use sudo user.
Step1:- Install epel-release .
yum install epel-release -y
Step2:- Install nux-dextop-release package.
rpm -Uvh http://li.nux.ro/download/nux/dextop/el7/x86_64/nux-dextop-release-0-5.el7.nux.noarch.rpm
Step3:- Instal VLC using yum.
yum install vlc
Step4:- Enjoy Videos on VLC player.
It’s time to play your videos on the VLC media player and enjoy it. You can start VLC media player, go to Applications Menu >> Sound & Video >> VLC Media Player or search in the menu bar.
